I doubt if church membership makes it on most people’s list, but it should. Unfortunately, many Christians have developed a faulty view of what it means to be a church member. The Book of Ephesians helps us see the true benefits that come from our connections to Christ and His church. Your connection to the church –your membership- will prove over time to be just as important as paying the bills and raising a family.

Overcome: Living Beyond Your Circumstances
Introduction: In Easy and Tough Circumstances.
We all have circumstances. Sometimes they’re good. Sometimes they’re bad. For many people, their circumstances feel overwhelming. When these people can’t change the circumstances they just learn to survive under them. They simply endure. Jesus overcame so that we can be overcomers. The story of Joseph is more than a great story. In it you will find motivation and practical help to live as overcomers. Regardless of what is happening in your life, God is at work for His good purpose. Just as God had a plan for Joseph, He has plans for you.
